INVENTORY AND PURCHASING COORDINATOR

 

We are actively searching for a dedicated full-time Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to take charge of overseeing various vital processes, including inventory management, procurement, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will work in close conjunction with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to guarantee the availability of sufficient supplies to fulfill our operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage company product inventory. This includes planning and forecasting to ensure the availability of the product.

  • Initiate purchase orders as required and monitor their progress to ensure punctual arrivals.

  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and identify any issues that may arise with inventory levels.

  • Supervise the company’s inventory system for the incorporation of the overall stock across all sales channels.

  • Guarantee that products are generated with their distinct technical descriptions, SKUs, and barcodes, enabling their availability for sale across diverse channels.

  • Supervise the company's suppliers, enhancing relationships and sourcing new ones.

  • Assess supplier capacities, quality benchmarks, and cost frameworks to ensure alignment with our requirements.

  • Collaborate with the quality department to identify product defects and initiate product warranty requests as necessary.

  • Produce monthly reports for specific areas, including comprehensive analysis.



Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in inventory management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and multitask.

  • Excellent communication skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bilingual (english and spanish)

  • Proficiency in inventory management software.

  • Previous experience with Shopify.

 

Job Type: Full-time 

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours week shift

Salary: $60,000 Yearly

SALES ASSOCIATE - State Fair (October)

 October 1st - October 22nd, 2023


Shifts:
 Full-Time Monday to Sunday


Pay
: $18 an hour + commission

 Brenda Grands Jewelry is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic Sales Associates to join our team at the State Fair in Dallas, Texas, for the entire month of October. We are a leading provider of fashion jewelry, and this is your chance to be a part of a dynamic and energetic sales team during one of the most popular events in the region.


Job Description:
 As a Sales Associate at the State Fair in Dallas, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our customers. You will engage with fairgoers, showcase our products/services, and drive sales while enjoying the festive atmosphere of the fair. This is a temporary position for the entire month of October, with 6-hour shifts available seven days a week. Transportation to the Fair is not covered. 


Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Engagement: Approach fairgoers in a friendly and welcoming manner to introduce them to our products/services.
  2. Sales: Actively promote and sell products/services to fair attendees, meeting or exceeding daily and monthly sales targets.
  3. Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions and provide customers with receipts as needed.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and restock inventory as necessary to ensure products are readily available for customers.
  5. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide exceptional service to enhance their fair experience.
  6. Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow Sales Associates and supervisors to create a cohesive and efficient sales environment.

Qualifications:
  1. Must be reliable and punctual.
  2. Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Enthusiastic, outgoing, and friendly personality.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Cash handling skills are a plus.
